Under a synthetic-sapphire window, the square, black rose dial is void of numerals, but instead is adorned with three gold-toned hands and three gold-toned chronographs: one for 60 seconds, one for 30 minute, and for 1/10th of a second. Also on the dial is a date display at the four o' clock position. The watch stays secured with a fold-over clasp and double-push button safety. The Rado Story
The Rado story began in 1917 in the small Swiss town of Lengnau, when the three brothers Fritz, Ernst, and Werner Schlup opened the Schlup & Co. clockwork factory. Exactly 40 years later, it becomes Rado Uhren AG. In 1957, the first watch collection is presented under this name, which marks the beginning of an unusual success story.
